Here are a few things that are keeping me off the streets.

It's more than a year since I made my agent redundant - no, I didn't kill her, I just didn't renew the
contract after re-employing her for a year with nothing getting published. I also discovered
that her name was listed on the Predators and Editors web site. You can probably guess
under which category she fit. If not, let me just say that she was listed as a Top Twenty
Worst
. I hope to have the books listed below published in 2008, if all things come to pass. I
gave up trying to find a new agent since my efforts were fruitless - you should have at least five
fruits and vegetables daily - and I will do without them and not give them a cut of the profits.

This Page Intentionally Left Blank - Just Like the Paychecks of the Workers,
published in 2007, wake up - it's time for your sleeping pill and Take
Back the Earth
were all finalists in the Indie Excellence 2007 Book Awards.
I Don't Want to be a Pirate - Writer, maybe was published in March 2008.

I'm cleaning up the books that follow for publication and am thinking about a new book about truth
called, Objects in Mirror Are Closer than They Appear, as well as a book on cancer. Order

another book on the three L's: language, lunacy and laughter

Though not exactly a sequel to for seeing eye dogs only, it has
many of the same thoughts and ideas, covering senior moments for
people who are nowhere close to getting a social security check.
After finishing, for seeing eye dogs only, I was
blessed with more examples of missing intelligence
and this is what I came up with. It isn't exactly like
its predecessor, but it still is proof that people need
to think before they act.

Take Back The Earth: The Dumb, Greedy
Incompetents Have Screwed It Up
Press 1 for pig Latin

I should really talk to Al Gore about this book. He could help
me promote it. The planet is in grave danger because of what
people have done to it and it doesn't seem to be getting any
better. We have a great deal of work to do in this regard.
From my experience over the years, I am
convinced that technology is a huge failure.
I need only mention email, voice maze,
viruses, spyware, PCs and 24/7 to convince
you of this. But, we have to fix it!

This is almost complete, but a few more modifications
need to be made. Obviously, it can't come out too soon.
This is the first book I wrote so many years ago. It
has been revised and perhaps should be published

I had the pleasure of listening to a presentation by writer Barbara Ehrenreich on the evening of December 6, 2006
at the Crouse-Hinds Concert Center in an area where I used to live - Syracuse, New York. I met her afterwards
and you can visit her website, www.unitedprofessionals.com and read my feelings about 24/7 on the blog there.

She has written a host of books, most recently Nickel and Dimed: on not Getting by in America and
Bait and Switch: the (Futile) Pursuit of the American Dream
. Both deal with the crisis that workers
face today and they are insightful, shocking and entertaining. I have quite a few of the same feelings that she
has relative to work. Currently I am working on a manuscript on that same subject. This one's tentative title
is This Page Intentionally Left Blank and it gets into social justice issues. The first five words of the
title are another great example of missing intelligence. My words on the blog at Barbara's website, listed
above, are a small part of the introduction of my new book.

I joined United Professionals, even though I am retired and you should too. It's a mere ten cents a day, or $36.50
a year and it is what we need to narrow the gap between the corrupt, filthy rich and those who do all the work.
No matter if you are a white collar, blue collar, red collar or don't have a collar on your shirt, join the cause and
tell others about the website highlighted above. Together, we can accomplish great advances in the work place.
