You have a variety of choices for beans in
this recipe. You can even
use a combination of types or cooked beans,
which will save time.

| 1 1/2 cups navy beans | 8 oz. tomato sauce | ||
| water | 3/4 cup hickory barbeque sauce | ||
| 1 apple, cut into small pieces | 3 Tbsp prepared mustard | ||
| 8 oz. crushed pineapple | 1 Tbsp steak sauce | ||
| 1 small onion, chopped | 1 Tbsp brown sugar | ||
| 1 tsp ground cumin | 1 clove garlic, minced | ||

| Soak the beans overnight. Bring them to a boil with plenty of water, lower | |||
| the heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add more water if necessary as the beans | |||
| cook. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for one hour. Serve. | |||
