The following recipe can use peaches in place of the | |||
| nectarines, without losing flavor. | ||||
| Oriental nectarine slaw | Serves 6 | |||
| ½ cup mayonnaise | 2 cups cooked turkey, chopped | |||
| 1 tbsp. soy sauce | 1 small onion, minced | |||
| 2 tbsp. white vinegar | freshly ground ginger | |||
| 4 nectarines, diced | 2 cups cabbage, shredded | |||
| 1 stalk celery, minced | freshly ground pepper | |||
| In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, soy sauce and vinegar | ||||
| until they are well blended. Mix remaining ingredients in a | ||||
| large bowl and add the mayonnaise mixture. Blend well and | ||||
| refrigerate overnight. Serve. | ||||
