Some people put corn in their salsa, but I prefer not to, even though I love fresh corn
on the cob in the summer.
I had a delicious black bean salsa at a political gathering
before the election in 2006. I wish I had gotten the recipe. This will have to suffice.

black bean salsa
x
1 15 oz. can diced tomatos 1 tsp ground cumin
1 15 oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1 4 oz. can chopped green chilies 1 small onion, finely chopped

In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Cover and refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips.
