Some people put corn in their salsa, but
I prefer not to, even though I love fresh
corn
on the cob in the summer. I had a delicious black bean salsa at a political
gathering
before the election in 2006. I wish I had
gotten the recipe. This will have to suffice.

| 1 15 oz. can diced tomatos | 1 tsp ground cumin | |
| 1 15 oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained | 1/2 cup chopped cilantro | |
| 1 4 oz. can chopped green chilies | 1 small onion, finely chopped | |

| In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Cover and refrigerate. Serve with tortilla chips. | ||
