United Professionals - WWW.UNITEDPROFESSIONALS.ORG
On Wednesday December 6, 2006 I had the pleasure
of hearing Barbara Ehrenreich speak at the
Crouse-Hinds Concert Center in Syracuse,
NY. Her presentation was instructive and
inspiring
and more entertaining than Kramer on his
gig in November. Of course, no one heckled
her.
Barbara is the author of Bait and Switch: the (Futile) Pursuit of
the American Dream,
Nickel and Dimed: on not Getting by in America and a few other books. The mentioned
titles - for which I give the highest recommendation
- deal with the difficulties of the working
class.
Please visit the web site listed above and
become a part of United Professionals, an
organization
that is needed today due to the criminal
corporate crapover on the citizens of America.
It
is a mere ten cents a day, or $36.50 a year
and it's an investment in the future of this
country.
Read of my feelings about 24/7 on the blog
at the web site.
Please tell others - this is for white collar,
blue collar and no collar workers.
