Just one word of warning: cayenne pepper is fiery hot so don't use much of it. You can always make it hotter but it's difficult to lessen the intensity if you put in a tablespoon or more.

Creole seasoning

| 3 tbsp. paprika | 2 tbsp. garlic powder |
| cayenne pepper to taste | 2 tbsp. freshly ground pepper |
| 1 tbsp. dried oregano | 1 tbsp. onion powder |
| 1 tbsp. dried thyme | |
| In a small bowl mix all the ingredients.
Transfer to a small jar and store in a cool, dry place. |
