I created this recipe for white cabbage and
those who tried it were delighted.

Austrian cabbage | xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx | serves 8 | |

| 2 cloves garlic, minced | 1/2 cup white wine | |||
| 3 Tbsp olive oil | 3 Tbsp dijon mustard | |||
| 1 large onion, chopped | 2 Tbsp caraway seed | |||
| 14 oz can sauerkraut, drained | fresh ground pepper | |||
| 3 cups cabbage, shredded | ||||

| In a large pan, saute garlic in oil over low heat for 7 minutes. Add | ||||
| onion and cook for 5 minutes. Add sauerkraut and cover, cooking | ||||
| for 10 minutes. While this is simmering, steam the cabbage for 5 | ||||
| minutes. Add it and the remaining ingredients to the pan and | ||||
| simmer for 5 minutes more. Serve. | ||||
