I created this recipe for white cabbage and those who tried it were delighted.

Austrian cabbage xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx serves 8
2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup white wine
3 Tbsp olive oil 3 Tbsp dijon mustard
1 large onion, chopped 2 Tbsp caraway seed
14 oz can sauerkraut, drained fresh ground pepper
3 cups cabbage, shredded
In a large pan, saute garlic in oil over low heat for 7 minutes. Add
onion and cook for 5 minutes. Add sauerkraut and cover, cooking
for 10 minutes. While this is simmering, steam the cabbage for 5
minutes. Add it and the remaining ingredients to the pan and
simmer for 5 minutes more. Serve.
